The Materials Engineering and Energy research group is dedicated to advancing research in electrochemistry, sustainable energy solutions, corrosion science, surface engineering and additive manufacturing. We focus on developing high-performance materials for energy storage applications, understanding corrosion mechanisms, and engineering functional surfaces for industrial applications in aeronautics, automotive, construction, and medicine. By integrating materials science with engineering along with energy innovation and sustainability, we aim to contribute to a smarter, cleaner, and more resilient future.
